This is precision high voltage regulator circuit diagram based 3 terminal adjustable regulator LM317L IC.
The circuit require input voltage Vin ≥ 178V and can provide output voltage ( V out) between 8 V to 160 V @ 25 mA current output.

R2, R6 : 1 K
R3 : 100 ohm / 0.5 W
R4 : 100 ohm
R5 : 1K5
R7 : 20 K / 5 W ( adjustable)
R8 : 27 ohm
C1, C2 : 1 uF mylar type
D1 : 1N4733 (6.2V)
D2 : 1N4001
D3 : LM 3390
Q1, Q2 : NSD 134 or similar
IC : LM 317L

Note : Q1, Q2 require adequate heatsink.
