This Power supply circuit is paired with High Power audio amplifier 1500 watts. Power supply required for the amplifier requires a serious approach to the design. First you need a step-down transformer capacity of at least 2kW. Supply filter capacitors should be designed to withstand up to 150V and 10A pulsed current. Capacitors do not meet these requirements may simply explode if the amplifier at full power.
An important detail – the bridge rectifier. Although the bridges on the 35A, it would seem, can cope with the task, but the repetitive peak current exceeds the nameplate data bridges. I suggest using two parallel-connected bridge as shown in the diagram. Rated voltage bridge rectifier should be a minimum of 400V, and they must be installed at a sufficient heat sink to cool.
The diagram shows four capacitors formed from the low voltage because they are easier to find, and as a rectifier consists of two parallel-connected bridge.
Additional sources of stress in the 5V can be excluded at this peak power is reduced from 2048W to 1920W which is not essential.
P39 module is a system of soft start and consists of relay contacts in parallel resistors which are included in the total power of 150W and the resulting impedance of 33 ohms.
