15 A adjustable power supply

As is shown in the wiring diagram the source provides similar amount of current through the parallel work of four power transistors, which must be mounted on a good heatsink. The voltage adjustment is performed in integrated LM317, which also must be dissipated mechanically.

    it possible increase out pout voltage more, for example 1.5 volt to 50 volts with this amperes out pout

  2. I tried this with 5 transistors, did not work, have I got to many maybe stick to 4 ????? please let me know. [cheers dickey]

  3. HI! i tried to build a regulated power supply from 0 to 50V and current of 10 A.Is it enough 5 transistors 2N3055 or should I use more transistors to built this power supply? Thank your for your help and best regards Tadej
